Brisbane Backpackers' Hostels are the
Best!
Backpacking
tours are an exciting and growing phenomena involving international,
low-cost independent travel. They are popular among youths and involve
hostel type accommodation and the use of public transportation for
local travel. The tours are often lengthy, and the use of a backpack is
evident, and the main goals are to interact with locals and enjoy the
sightseeing activities.
One of the most popular and exciting backpacking locations is in the
sub-tropical city of Brisbane, Australia. My friends and I spent a
fantastic Brisbane break for three weeks at the Brisbane Backpacker
Hostel, which is in the central location of South Bank. It is a few
minutes away from the city, the Central Business District and the
multinational West End District. The Brisbane Backpackers’ Resort
offers great facilities including comfortable dorms with T.V, shared
kitchen facilities, free shuttle bus service, pool, spa and tours. It
also offers facilities for Internet as well as tennis and basketball
courts, a sports bar and restaurant and bar services.
During our backpackers’ experience we were in for a great treat with
the many attractions and activities available within walking distance
or a short ride from our Resort. These include the public beach and
several Markets and eating places from which to choose. We spent
evenings and nights visiting the Cultural Center and Concert Hall,
which include museums, theatres and art galleries. Here, we experienced
local and international musical, dance, comedy and drama acts and the
circus. There is an events’ timetable which helped us to plan ahead and
choose our preferred types of entertainment.
We experienced other sightseeing attractions around Brisbane including
a close up of Australia’s wildlife at the Currumbin Sanctuary located
on the Gold Coast, and the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, which is one of
the top Zoos internationally. Here, we fed kangaroos, cuddled koalas
and took pictures with snakes. In addition, we visited the Australian
Zoo on the Sunshine Coast and the Sirromet Wineries in Mount Cotton.
We highly recommend the Brisbane Backpackers’ Resort as an ideal
location, with great facilities and varied and interesting attractions,
for your next backpacking trip. |
